Pro Football Hall of Famer and Super Bowl champion Larry Allen died Sunday, according to the Dallas Cowboys. He was 52 years old.

Allen played 12 seasons with the Cowboys, winning three Super Bowls (XXX, XXVII, XXVIII) and earning 11 Pro Bowl selections. He was a key member of the Cowboys' vaunted offensive line, which helped pave the way for Emmitt Smith's record-breaking rushing totals.

Allen was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2013. He was also a member of the NFL's 1990s All-Decade Team and the NFL's 100th Anniversary All-Time Team.

Allen's death is a tragic loss for the football community. He was a great player and a beloved figure in Dallas. He will be missed by all who knew him.
